Hidden from the street by potted plants and wooden screens, Pennie's is hard to read from the outside. Once indoors, you'll find exposed rafters crossing the ceiling and icicle lights hanging from above. The tablecloths are all different, but each could be straight out of a little country cafe. Pennie's offers the usual backyard cookout fare, such as baby back ribs, chicken, steak and pork. You can also find hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad and coleslaw. Non-barbecue items such as fried chicken and roast beef are also available. The full-service bar supplies beverages. Limited carryout is available on the weekends.

Lov24get - 07/25/2008If your planning on dinner out, come early. Not only will you enjoy your dinner today, but I generally have to take home half the order because of the large portions. Baby Back Ribs the greatest. Oh darn, everything I have ordered there is great. My husband loves their Chili too.
