No one does Florida barbecue better than this Winter Park pit -- O-Boys Real Smoked Bar-B-Q specializes in pork shoulders, eye rounds, ribs and chicken. Varnished wood tables and hanging plants set the scene inside, but it's the brick courtyard where most patrons opt to down their barbecue.
The pork is by far most popular, but the sampler platter -- liberal portions of beef, pork, ribs and a quarter chicken -- will give you a gut Boss Hogg would be proud of. Douse the chicken platter with some of O-Boys' own hot sauce for the best meal on the menu. Beer and wine are available, but the sweet southern iced tea is just as refreshing on a hot Florida day.
Nightly all-you-can-eat specials pack 'em in and families will appreciate the kids' menu. Dinner plates are served with your choice of potato, slaw or salad, baked beans and delicious garlic bread. If you're not clutching your full belly on the way out, there's something wrong.

NFarmerHall - 05/04/2009The food is great. No leftover smokey taste. Best BBQ in town! What keeps us (up to 17 family members) coming back is when we get a gal named Donna for a server. She's sharp, friendly, and on the ball.

BearzFL - 05/23/2008The food is very good, much better than Sonny's but I still prefer Smokey Bones best. The people is what keeps this place hopping on Friday and Satruday nights. A very diverse and friendly wait staff makes this the hippest of the places on the list. If you want a nice sit down BBQ meal for your family than Smokey Bones is best. However, if your looking for a place to grab a bite before or after you hit the bars and clubs in the area, this is the spot. I have only been to the one on Colonial.

kinglouix - 03/03/2005When your a Q restaurant and people are going to Sonny's to avoid you it says something. Can't speak for the Winter Park location but the one on East 50 is crawling with roaches!!!!
Great Food
blondboi1983 - 03/02/2005This place has the best Florida bbq that I have found. The pulled pork is awesome! I tried ribs there on all you can eat a few weeks ago! Wow, is all I have to say. I went to the West 50 store. The service is great and the bar is fully stocked. So I had a little drink with my bbq. ^^

ih1dnk - 01/05/2005My husband loves the big plastic cups that he can take his iced tea home with! I like the barbeque sauce and the kid's menu. They shouldn't bother with the salad, some limpy iceberg lettuce and a tasteless tomato wedge. I agree with the other posts about the meat, there is usually a lot of extra fat to deal with. Nothing special with the fries, but the beans are pretty good.
