Standing proud on Central Avenue's antique row, Central BBQ came fairly recently to the barbecue scene. But thanks to its diversity, the restaurant's becoming a hometown favorite. Service is fast, friendly and efficient, both inside and on the cozy front patio. Those of you who prefer barbecue on the lean side (but without sacrificing juice and flavor) will love Central BBQ. Fantastic sauces - including mild, hot, vinegar and mustard - complement that smoky taste, so be sure to mix and match to create your own personal flavor. First-rate sides include slightly sweet barbecued beans spiked with chunks of pork, fresh coleslaw and delicious homemade barbecued potato chips. Choose wet or dry ribs by the half or whole slab.
