In Short
Founded in Tennessee, this barbecue chain is the blues version of a big-city Hard Rock Cafe. Walls are lined with posters and memorabilia of musicians like Bessie Smith and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Ribs are the specialty of the house and come dry, wet or sweet. Pulled pork and fried catfish are complemented by the deep-fried onion ring loaf.

Braavo. Dry ribs to perfection. PULLED pork juicy. Beans have a very distinct barbque flavor. Superior!!

I use to eat at the one in Annapolis, MD all the time. I recently moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and I was delighted to find out there is a Red, Hot & Blue in the area. I must say though, just like in MD, the food portions are getting smaller and not as nice. So, if you've been eating there for years, you might agree. I ate at the one off of Hulen, and I must say that I like the atmosphere better in MD. The one here was a bit more modern and didn't go well with their Tennessee style (southern) look.

Any place that throws cole slaw on an otherwise acceptable barbeque sandwich should be avoided like the plague.

Bravo, somebody finally got it right. Ribs cooked to perfection, dry or wet give 'em to me, and the secret also. I want tell. But as for the taste I've passed it on, telling others to have a try...YUM!!!
