It seems that I am not the only one who had experienced issues with security. I have seen them literally PUNCH some guy !!!! Be ware !!! and stay away !!!!

Myst has something for everyone. If you like Hip Hop you'll love it on wednesdays and saturdays. If you are a house fan you will love fridays. Some of the best DJ's in the world spin at Myst. Celebrities that come into town love to party in their own private skybox. You'll feel like a star when you walk uptairs and arrive in VIP. Everyone goes to Myst to have a good time and the staff is nothing but Hot Hot Hot!

Not everyone gets it...

If the place is packed, they are doing something right... The DJ's (which vary every week, depending on the day) are some of the best in the world (Paul van Dyk, etc.). Myst is the only club trying to reach out to EVERYONE and really give them a great party. They are trying to combine mystique of a nightclub with considerate customer service. Sure, they may have been hit with a bad rep, but everyone should give them another try and really see the difference they've made in the last year. They are friendly but assertive, and treat everyone like a VIP, while preserving a proper nightclub dynamic of well-groomed (and safe) clientele.

Myst has a little of something for everyone. It provides a safe, entertaining environment for clubbers. The different themed rooms make the walk around the large club an engaging experience. The ballroom adds a nice touch. It allows you to slow things down and play a game of pool or sit down in a less crowed lounge area. The patio is very large and will come in handy when the smoking ban takes affect early 2007.
Wednesday, ladies night, seems to be the only place to be that night. There is plenty of young talent (probably and understatement). The bar staff is fast and good looking. Great place for just about anyone.

a lot of hype

myst is given a lot of hype around scottsdale, mainly to all the underage people that are there. that's what the majority of the club is. you can tell because frequent clubbers who go there know how its not a big deal AT ALL. the music is horrible, the dance floor is SO small considering the size of the club, vip is horrible, and the bouncers are idiots and will let in any girl if theyre cute enough, no matter what their age is or if they're ID is legit. People wonder why cops are always parked outside? The only thing i really like is the layout and design of the club and the sky box's (vip rooms). other than that do not waste your time.

Myst Sucks

I think this is one of the worst clubs I've been to since I just turned 21! And I've been to a lot of other clubs in scottsdale! My friends convinced me to here for my bday, but I really don't see what all the hype is about.Security sucks, bouncers don't seem to know what they r doing. It gets way to crowded to the point u can't move and a majority of the music sucks! They hardly play anything new.

Myst is the single best club in AZ. for one reason, not everyone can get it, red rope and strict dress code keep certain people out and I've never had a problem getting in. If anyone could get into myst. it wouldn't be myst, it would be just another club, the music is awesome, the lights are simply brilliant, the go-go dancers look amazing, security do a great job, vip areas are worth it, and the private rooms look fun to have.
If you go to myst and don't have a great time then you must not like good atmosphere, people, music, and fun

Bad Service!!

I am a regular clubber. I'm usually at hollywood, CA and Long Beach, CA. I went on a vacation in Arizona. I went to a club called "Myst". The security had an issue with us, i dont know what it was though, but here's the story. I went here with 4 guys and a girl. We waited in line and when we got to the front. the security looked at us, flashed his flashlight at our shoes, asked for our ID's. So he checked every single one VERY carefully, and when he finished checking the last persons ID, he told us that we couldn't get in because we were wearing plaid shirts. That was pretty messed up. He made that excuse up because he didnt want us getting in. I think he was prejudice either because we're asian or we from california. BOOO TOO SECURITY!!!! I hope the GM/owners of this club gets to read this!

Nice club and decor. However they could use a better DJ, the music was kinda Waaaaaaaaack. The club is within a party district east of the Scottsdale Fashion Square and was packed with lots of eye candy. There are several addtional clubs nearby within walking distance when you get tired of this one. The club gets very crowded after 10:30 pm, arrive around 9:30 to avoid long lines.
