  • Still the best

    Review rating : 5out of 5   Dwelsh53 - 09/24/2009

Many restaurants come and go in the valley, including big name chefs, however, in my opinion Mastro's continues to be THE BEST - always consistent. Not cheap but worth it.

  • Delish!

    Review rating : 5out of 5   Amberinanthem - 06/11/2008

We love Mastro's! Whether dining as a couple, a family (2 children 8 & 11) or out with friends we've always had consistently great service, and beautiful meals. We also love Mastro's Ocean Club, my husband can order his favorite steak and I get my fish.

  • Best joint ever

    Review rating : 5out of 5   scottblindsey - 04/19/2007

It is simply the best restaurant experience money can buy; from the ambiance through the service to the food. We have been all over the country and Mastro's is in the mix of top tier restaurants.

  • The price you pay is not in $

    Review rating : 2out of 5   aztrukin - 02/20/2007

Very nice food, noise level too high. Worst aspect is the middle aged women with too many facelifts and way too many glasses of wine. It was just amazing to repeatedly observe these women being helped out to their cars while trying to enjoy an otherwise good steak.

  • The Best of the best

    Review rating : 5out of 5   arizonavalgo - 02/20/2007

My husband and I have been going to Mastro's for five years and must say that it is the finest steakhouse we have ever been to. Coming from New York we do know fine restaurants as this is the best. Whether you are 4 or 67 or anything in between you will enjoy yourself. We have never had a problem carrying on a conversation. Our servers were well versed in their jobs and so very pleasant. We bring all of our out-of-town guests there as well as locals. And, everyone has been very satisfied with everything. We also love the fact that we get a call after being there to check on our experience - great P.R. We have never had a meal that didn't live up to our expectations. Thanks Mastro's.

  • Music way too loud!

    Review rating : 4out of 5   astradude - 01/10/2007

Great food and service. Excellent abiance, but you can't have a conversation without yelling over Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. You have to yell the order to the servers. VERY FRUSTRATING!

  • Great but loud

    Review rating : 4out of 5   douginaz - 01/03/2007

Great steaks and seafood, but the music is louder than a live rock concert.

  • Upscale verion of Outback

    Review rating : 2out of 5   sarah85308 - 04/05/2006

I was not particularly blown away by this restaurant, and for the prices, I should have been. The main course was not any more special than something I could have gotten at Outback Steakhouse. The only thing that stood out to me were the lobster mashed potatoes. However, they did have very nice wine. I don't think I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, simply because you don't get anything extra for the price you are paying, as opposed to other upscale steakhouses in town.

  • Mastros is the best

    Review rating : 5out of 5   troskos - 03/08/2006

We travel the world every year and nothing compares to Mastros. If you want the best table and exceptional server, ask for Brent at table 401 when making your reservation. It is located in the back room next to the fireplace. I would recommend either the bone-in rib eye or the bone-in filet. A must for any steak lover.
    Enjoy!
