A popular breakfast and lunch chain throughout the valley, The Good Egg wakes you up gently with fresh squeezed juices, fruity iced teas and homemade ingredients. With a bright and cheery "good morning" type of atmosphere reminiscent of Grandma's kitchen, The Good Egg offers healthy portions of breakfast and lunch favorites such as bacon and eggs, pancakes, frittatas, grilled chicken, hamburgers, fresh fruit and wraps. For a special treat, try their Colorado Chicken Quesadilla with black beans, which can be prepared traditionally or as part of their "heart healthy" menu, try it once and you'll be hooked!
Remember to come early as there's usually a wait to be seated on weekends, although comfortable patio dining is usually available. The Good Egg's reliably good food, moderate prices, casual atmosphere and old-fashioned family-friendly service are sure to leave you sunny side up, regardless of which valley wide location you visit.

Be careful to make sure the NEW waitress knows the special.
I ordered the special no Onions, and by the time the remade my order, the rest of my party was finished with breakfast, and Management was not aware of the opportunity.
Second time in a row that sunday am service at the Gilbert location was sub par.Wall hangings are fun to read.
I've enjoyed going there several times when on vacation. I'm from Jersey and I tell everyone I know that is vacationing there, that they should visit the Scottsdale location at least once. They often tell me they have gone back every day. Besides the beautiful weather, I eat better when I'm in Arizona and getting a healthy breakfast is a way I lost weight on vacation. Imagine that !! I wish I could move to Arizona !! I've seen the inconsistany but usually have a decent meal.
Customer
I enjoy the Good Egg at scottsdale Rd and Carefree Hwy several times a week. The only thing negative I can Attest to is the inconsistance with the service and food. The restaurant has a high turnover rate probabbly because of its location. service and food will be fine for a few weeks, then it has a hic up and the scrambled eggs are over cooked, or bacon is greasy and cold, or hot water for tea is tainted with coffee, or cinammin bun is burnt on bottom. Management needs to check the food coming out of the kitchen or wait people should be made responsible. It does no good to ask later after the food has been delivered if it is OK. You've already made a bad impression. Like the person said, I don't want to be compted.
sometimes good sometimes disappointing
half the time one of our orders ( like buiscuits and gravy) arrives COLD. Needless to say after going two or three times we gave up. they did comp the cold meals...but still, this is not what we wanted...

The Good Egg- Tucson
