If you're craving traditional Chinese dishes from a darkly lit hole-in-the-wall with paper lanterns and food in waxy boxes, don't go to Flo's. She's got a whole new take on Chinese food which has proven to be quite popular. No matter what day of the week you show up, you're probably in for a wait. But for your patience, you're rewarded with some innovative dishes that don't sacrifice flavor for nouveau cuisine novelty. By giving old familiar standards a new twist (fried won-tons and dipping sauce are "chips and salsa" here), Flo's has generated renewed excitement about what was once just quick and easy takeout. Entrees include an imaginative variety of shrimp, beef and chicken dishes. Make sure to leave room for more than just fortune cookies; it may not be typical Chinese fare, but the chocolate cheesecake is well received by the many fans of this Scottsdale favorite.

    Atmosphere was pleasant, but nothing unusual. Food was excellent and so was the service. I will go back to Flo's in the future.

    Food excellent. Would go back. Would never go back to PF Changs. Overly rated. Flo's made food especially for the wife who has food allergies. More food than Changs. Only negative, could not get a tea pot of hot water. Kept giving hot water but I wanted my own tea pot.

    Very overates to say it compares to P.F. Changs. The best part is the starting plate of salas. Very good.
