Truth to tell, I live in the neighborhood and I'm a regular at Tarbells. Why? Outstanding food carefully prepared by flexible and creative chefs...terrific wine list...friendly, caring staff. And, yes, that chocolate dessert is better than adultery!

Really! Best pan-seared scallops. And the chocolate mousse was to die for.

Worst food I ever had at a restraunt. Seems like a good place for your mid-life crises.

Huge pick-up joint for the male geriatric crowd. Drinks are overpriced. Noise is not buffered, so this is not your spot if looking for a quiet place to conduct business. The food is decent and service iffy.

Tarbell's is a great place for an appetizer and a martinis. As far as entree's, I think there are presented well, but they are overpriced, and really not as flavorful as I would expec. Desserts are very good too. Alas, I'm sticking to the martini's there...
