frmep717 - 10/30/2004Nello's in Tempe (Southern/Mcclintock) is definitely the BEST pizza place in Arizona!!! Super friendly staff and excellent pizza! Plus I have yet to find a place who can beat their prices! Happy hour drinks and pizza..mmmmm makes my mouth water now.

Overall the best
schmma - 06/11/2004This is probably one of the cleanest pizza restaurants in the valley! All the ingredients are fresh and everything on the menu is worth trying! I have been going to Nello's for over 15 years and it just gets better! I love NYPD, Oreganos's and Pizzeria Bianco, but Nello's is something special!
what went south?
turbobiskit - 04/29/2004The last few years have seen a huge drop in quality, but a rise in cost.
Don't know what happened but the pizza is overpriced and just plain sucks.
Thy NYPD, Oreganoes, Bianco, Red Devil, Borros, Ray's or Streets of NY if you want to avoid the chains and get a good pizza pie!
