I don't care that i can't sit and dine in a fancy restaurant...what I eat and what I pay for it is what I'm looking for...
Carolina's beats any Mexican food restaurant in Phoenix by far...no one makes their beans ....red chili...and tortillas like Carolinas....Next best place.....Mr' G's...in Yuma, Arizona....Bean burros to die for...great food.....

food is fair to poor. the rice and beans are puky. the building is a dump with dirty restrooms/dineing area to boot. you certainly will not want to eat in! other than the tortillas being oversized they are no better than food city tortillas which cost less. there are a lot of other places with better food...............

Carolina's by far out rates any other restaurant in the valley when it comes to taste and price. My favorite is the oaxaca burrito, which has the best tasting chorizo I have ever had.

I AGREE THE TORTILLAS ARE THE BEST! BUTI THINK THEY OVER RATED THIS PLACE WAY TO HIGH. THE QAXACA BURRRO IS ABOUT THE BEST THEY HAVE, I HAVE EATEN THERE MANY TIMES AND TRIED ABOUT EVERY MEAL THEY SERVE THEY YET HAV'NT IMPRESSED ME AT ALL.. THERE MEAT BURROS TASTE LIKE LIVER,THEY NEED TO BUY BETTER QUALITY MEAT AND SPICE UP THERE CHILE A BIT MORE. WHY DO I KEEP GOING BACK? THERE TORTILLAS AND THERE QAXACO BURRO ONCE IN A WHILE

The place is packed at lunch time.
Food just like momma used to make at home. The no.8(2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans) will fill you up,unless you add two beef tacos with the order.

I was amazed at the taste of the food, they serve a great chorizo and egg burrito, always been there when there was a long line of people, so It must be a popular place...

Great food,and the tortillas are out of this world!! If you notice on their wall a U.S. map of where their tortillas have been sent to across the country for everyone to enjoy!!
