Very poor......... Don't even buy it on dvd

This movie was such a real stinker. Save your money. Don't even buy it when it comes out on dvd.

What a dining experience

So you want to take family members from out of town to a great dining experience, Lon's is your place! The food has a southwestern influence to it which is why my wife and I took 6 family members, all from Seatle(think dining snobs). We eached order a different entre' and every member of the family even the in-laws bragged about their dish. The wait staff was attentive and what a wonderful wine list. The atmosphere was fantastic with a real western flavor. Yes they want to come back to Phoenix, not to visit us but for the dining experience at Lon's!

The Best in the West

My husband and I (who are local) and two other couples from out of town ate outside on the patio. This had to be 7 or 8 years ago. It was in January and they had heaters outside. The food was excellent as well as the atmosphere and service. We had dessert inside. The couple from NY still rave about it. We now live out of state and will be in town this weekend, but I'm not so sure if it's the same quaity, especially for the money after reading some of the current reviews.

Last Meal of Pompeii!

While it is lovely to sit on the patio beside the fireplace - beware: it will feel like the last meal at Pompeii as your table gets covered by ash! My husband and I went for our anniversary - and for the first night out without our two-month old! Despite feeling like we were downwind of a volcano, it was beautiful. Our server was extremely knowledgable and friendly. I had the goat cheese and arugula salad with beets and strawberries. Could have used a few more beets... My husband had the gazpacho - although it was quite good, my husband has decided he's 'over' gazpacho. : ) Two-pepper crusted pork tenderloin is excellent. Get a side of the prickly-pear braised red cabbage. Delicious! Bring your wallet, baby!

I HAVE STAYED AT THE HERMOSA ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE ROOMS ARE VERY BEAUTFUL. THE RESTUARANT SETTING WAS BREATHTAKING. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. EVERY EMPLOYEE WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE ME FEEL SPECIAL. I ENJOYED MY STAY VERY MUCH. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN, AND I WILL TELL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE THE HERMOSA IS.

Dissapointed

I had read many things about this facility and was looking forward to going only to find the Air conditioning broke in the bar area, the waiters rude and the food simply VERY smoke flavored; Even the bread! Will never go back. There are so many wonderful places to choose from that you would think they would make a few special efforts. I did not even eat 1/2 my meal and the waiter couldn't figure out that I simply did not like it.

Did lunch on Valentine's Day and it was excellent. Their bread is the best in the city and atmosphere can't be beat. Food and service are tops. Loved the original artwork displayed throughout the inn. Will go again and will definately take guests for a special lunch.

Contemporary cuisine. Food is beautifully presented and quite good. The ambiance is southwestern but a little too loud. The lounge is very pretty and intimate. Try the rack of lamb or ostrich (if it's on special). Their pork chop is also very good. Lon's is business casual. The service is good but was way too slow for our table of 7. it is fairly expensive. Expect to pay around $40.00 per person if you have appetizers and cocktails. I eat out at least once per week. I would pay anything if the food and service were worth the money spent.
