Tiny and no-frills, with only a bit of neon trim for adornment, Fortune Chinese Restaurant is perfect for a quick take-out or drive-thru meal alternative. Fortune offers a fair selection of Chinese dishes with pick-up convenience. Most patrons seem to enjoy the food through drive- thru, as the interior is cramped, bright, and noisy, with the phone ringing non-stop for pick- up orders. With many traditional Chinese choices available, however, like chow mein, lo mein and fried rice, as well as a host of chicken, beef and seafood dinners, a quick drive to grab some hot Szechuan is a no-brainer.

kkellzzkkellzz - 08/31/2006I'd been to Fortune a number of times. Their lunch special is usually quite good for the price. I went recently with my husband and was overwhelmed with how poor the food and service was. We were only one of two occupied tables in the restuarant and the wait staff seemed almost annoyed that we were there at all. One literally stood behind my husband and just stared at us while we ate. It was less than inviting. When we did get our food, it was also terrible. My husband ordered General Tso Chicken and there was no "hottness" to it at all. It tasted like overly-sweet sweet-n-sour sauce. There is no other word for it than just bad. Do no waste your time and money.

lfoti - 04/14/2006we were seated very near the kitchen. the staff was watching us to the point of making us uncomfortable. we felt that our conversation was not private. I don't pay money for this type of service.
