South Austin residents have been enjoying this neighborhood sushi restaurant since 1994. Located in a small, unassuming shopping center, Seoul offers a fitting and pleasant environment; the wooden booths and tables, accented by large screens, small carvings and other art, create a very crisp atmosphere. Although full Japanese and Korean menus are offered, the sushi bar is the most popular draw. Charismatic owner D.K. Lee emcees the restaurant's weekly Disco Karaoke night. The normally subdued and relaxed environment is set aside as patrons -- many of them wearing leisure suits, disco skirts or large, feathered hats -- pack the place and perform popular (and not so popular) hits.
